A hook and a ball of wool are enough to start a beautiful work.
When I want to crochet and I don't have a predefined idea of the result, nothing better than the granysquare.
Ideal for experimenting with new stitches, the granny values the time spent crocheting.
One, two, three... turns and the square takes shape.
But what am I going to do with it???
For that I have to make several until the idea of the final realization imposes itself on me.
The material used is just as important as the stitch design. Indeed, wool, cotton, cashmere, alpaca.... are all natural fibers
with different renderings.
If I crochet a cotton granny, the accessory is not far away!
Cotton crocheted in grannies has a solid and not very flexible finish.
If I crochet alpaca, then the garment imposes itself by the softness of the finish. The fiber is soft, warm, supple and light.
The material is therefore one of the first elements to take into account when you take your crochet hook and choose a ball!
