Creating a Brooch /Pendant with Cameo

Cameo and Garnet Brooch

The creation of this jewel was a real pleasure!

A beautiful carved white mother-of-pearl cameo that I enhanced with almandine garnet beads embroidered around the entire circumference of the cameo (in my channel you will find the cabochon beadwork tutorial, here). Everything is fixed on a coppery brass filigree.

I found that this cabochon was worth the effort to mount in brooch! But the idea of being able to wear it around the neck was obvious!!!

Brooch and Pendant Creation

So I added a brass motif on the top enhanced with garnet and cultured pearl.

You can pass a chain on the back of the pattern!

To give a more baroque style, I then added brass chain on the bottom of the cabochon.
